About the program

Hurt Locker Tri is excited to present two 12 week programs for Tasmania 70.3 on the 4th of February and Big Husky (Enticer | Sprint | Olympic | Ultimate) on the 25th of February. You will be receiving a personalised program delivered through Training Peaks written by a level 2 Development TriNSW qualified coach, Loren Lane. Loren has a depth of experience coaching athletes of all abilities, from first timers to multiple Ironman World Championship qualifiers


The two programs are capped at 10 people each which ensures whilst you get the benefit of being part of a group, you also get very focused, personalised programming to fit in around individual schedules. These programs are designed to bring a group of like minded athletes together to motivate, support and guide them to achieve the best from their body.


The programs are written in a way that you do not need a power meter or any fancy technology to get started. A smart watch to record sessions is however beneficial as the data from this can be directly uploaded to Training Peaks and your sessions analysed to monitor progression, fitness and fatigue.

  • Unlimited access to your coach or ask questions and chat about all things triathlon

  • Optional weekly check-ins with your coach

  • Key group sessions including bricks and race simulations plus optional weekday group sessions

  • Race plan for your goal event


Cost: $549.00


NB* The group sessions will all be Sydney based either at Centennial Park, Kurnell, Little Bay/Yarra Bay, Coogee Beach or Heffron Park. If you wish to continue post the 12 week program the cost is reverted to $220.00 per month


Key Dates

Program start date for Tassie 70.3: Monday 13th Nov

Program start date for Big Husky: Monday 4th Dec


Key brick sessions/Race sims: Dates to be confirmed however there will be one in early December, Mid January and early February with the potential for an additional one before Tassie 70.3


Weekday optional sessions: Tuesday evening run sessions and Friday morning Coogee ocean swim sessions. Ad-hoc group long rides will be organised where there is sufficient interest

About the coach

Loren Lane

Loren is an experienced coach across all levels having raced Ironman & 70.3 to the highest level including multiple age group podiums, and a national title. A hands on coaching style and will challenge everyone to reach their potential.
